I was entertained by your creative ouchbot character side project :). You even reviewed yourself as "not entirely uninteresting" or something to that effect, lol. Well this means that your technique and style is unique, (there aren't other REAL ouchbots that can easily mimic it as you lead me to believe.) As for this track, it has a similar great quality of organized chaos as most of your other tracks, but there's something unusual and cool that happened maybe somewhat on accident. It's like the beats evolve from normalish beats into a chainsaw mimicing these beats then back or something. Some worthless advice would be to try completely new styles, methods techniques, like limit yourself, ex. try to make a track using only melody tones... try to do something different each time or something. These tracks are all damn good, but there's a slight similarity between them which doesn't even matter though, it's good for an album or something anyway because they all retain this unifying symmetry. You make so much music so quick too, ...the thought of having software in the future that can create awesome music easily and effortlessly and quickly in mass... I don't see any reason why it would effect listening pleasure. The brain still has to have fun understanding it.

Well I probably got my words all jumbled up and implied the opposite of what I meant, given that I am retarded. What I meant anyway was that I hated it.
No, wait, I meant I "loved" it, oops, yes, yes that's the word I was looking for... sorry

Thanks wMw..I am stupid and easily prone to confusion..but from what I have gathered..you didnt find the track..entirely uninteresting :)
the beats werent an accident..they were a result of me downloading a bunch of new VST plugins and discovering new recording features in floops..in fact the whole ouchbot project was a result of that..
as far as songs sounding similar..yes I am aware of that..and I am happy/unhappy about it..yes on the one hand I want to try something entirely different each time but on the other I am getting tired of my schizophrenic multimulti personality syndrome (I mean how many projects have I got?)..and am trying to develop some signature quantifiers...so yes I am split on this aspect....so bear with me, I have one more song awaiting approval which is similar in nature too..where I think I exhausted the possibilites my new set up offered me..then...I am an empty page in an unopened book....:)

Of course neurotic concentration on one single aspect/technique/thing can lead to very creative output too. I'd still like to see the works of someone who's spent 10 years focusing on the art of making patterns on the floor with toothpicks and taking a picture of it as the end product... Not that you focus entirely on one thing, they are all unique, though similar. Many chaotic different elements still come together and unite symmetrically.

for some reason your comments flashed an image of beautifully intricate and complex crop circles...now that's an artform totally unappreciated....I cant even begin to imagine the foresight and imagination that will go into creating a perfect circle of that magnitude let alone the brilliant patterns...
