You got the POOOWWWEEERRRR...
YEAH!!!
Any fans of the Transformers movie from 1985? I just got it off Kazaa, and was totally transfixed, a nostalgic trip back in time... when Prime comes and saves Autobot city, that's hardcore. Great filmmaking, the way he comes down and singlehandedly defeats teh Decepticons and then has a one on one battle with Megatron. When he dies... it's so sad.
They even say SHIT! Spike says ''Oh shit, what are we gonna do NOW?'' after Unicron devours Moon Base 2. Bad ass. I did a double take.
Look at the voice talent... Leanard Nimoy, Eric Idle, Orson Welles, Robert Stack... the audio is so cool. Even the 80's cheese soundtrack is sweet in its own way.

I remember it!
Arcee the "girl" robot made me laugh, the idea of a robot with gender...
Did they really say "shit"? I find that hard to believe...
I didn't think it was as early as '85, I remember seeing it in the cinema and I could only have been 3 then.

I saw in in the Barry town "Theatre Royal" with my mate Paul Clee. My mum took us, I remember talking about it with the kids in school the next day... (overcome with nostalgia, tears well up in eyes)

Yup, ''shit'' is really in there, pretty surprising. Magnus also says ''Open, damn it, OPEN!'' as he tries to open the Matrix to save the Autbots from Galvatron and the Sweeps. I was shocked...
I used to rent this movie like every week when I was a wee boy, and also the GI JOE movie with Serpentor. Note to self... download GI JOE movie.

A friend and I watched GI Joe during a bout of intentional sleep deprivation a few years ago. It was so trippy watching it drifting in and out of sleep :)
