I always thought that part of beign an Aphex fan is NOT to
think that druqks stands for drugs. If I was wrong, why was
I?

You are wrong. You don't need to follow inane rules to be a
fan.

I thought it is done on purpose to decieve the ones who see
things in anything.

You are correct however.
I am just wondering what is really behind the word "druqks"
if it is any word at all!

Actually, you don't need any rule to be an Aphex phan, just
follow your taste in music and forget about
rules/explanations and all that...It's like listening to
AE,sometimes they don't even have timing in their
music, they're just been creative, thus improvising over some
weird rythm, noises and samples, isn't that great,I just love
it!! ==)

It doesn't matter what Aphex meant Drukqs to mean (if
anything). Its all up to YOU. You can interpret it however
you want. I interpret drukqs to mean drugs because thats
what it sounds like to me. It doesn't mean I'm right though.

He said that the word DrukQs has meaning to him, but he
would never tell anyone what it was, and let his fans guess
and guess in an interfiew to promote the release of DrukQs.
This was back in September I think, i read it in XLR8R.

it is so so fucking irrelevant... who cares?

maybe druqks means "apple pie". to me is just the name of
his latest album.

it was meant to be 'druk-qs' or 'drug use'....it was never
meant to be just 'drugs'.

although i prefer to think of it as just a nice sounding
word.

IT does not sound nice at all. It sounds like a reversed
toilet paper or something.
