there has been alot of people talking about how IDM is a shit name (i agree)... ...and i was reading a review of Boards of Canada online, and the guy called them "Electronic Drug Music" i thought that was pretty fucking funny. It kind of works... i mean for several reasons: 1. People who hear it for the first time assume that anyone who listens to it, has to be on drugs. 2. While listening to it, it can feel like you are on drugs...even if you arnt 3. If you are on drugs... it sounds FUCKING AWESOME. so yeah EDM... electronic drug music! |

give it up.. okay you might get about a dozen people here to agree... then try and plonk EDM in your search fields and see what comes up...NADA just accept it..we are stuck with IDM...there's thousands of online resources available for it... btw..all the IDM gets filed under Downbeat down here |
