Saying 'Drukqs' like 'Druk ques'? 'Drug use'? Weird I
think.

yeah...that theory was brought up back when the title was
first revealed...and then dispelled in a later interview
with aphex

I always thought it was that way ['drug use']. It doesn't
really make sense the other way, but then again neither do
any of the track titles

alot of the track titles are actually words in Cornish... a
dialect in Cornwall England

one of AFXs sisters is apparently a linguist so that may go
some way towards explaining his love of odd words &
pronouciations...looks like having phun with language runs
in the family...

and drukqs seems to be a pretty personal album for him,
there's a lot of references to his family in it (samples,
song titles...lornaderek and happy bday)...

Autechre are pretty expert at mucking around with words as
well...
