I bought it today, and i am listening to it now.

OH MY GOD THIS IS SOME GOOD SHIT

Very dark and very moody, and also VERY FUCKING GOOD

Yeah its really good. Not too many people on this board are
into this kind of stuff though. Shame really.

Mwah...The titletrack of Alice is absolutely stunning but i
don't care much for the other tracks on that record.

Tom Waits is my all-time favorite lyricist and song-writer.
If I had a gun to my head and had to choose, I'd take my
complete Tom Waits collection over my Autechre or Aphex
Twin's. I think some 'IDMer's' could get into some of his
stuff. He uses a lot of odd percussion instruments that
make for crazy rhythms (chest of drawers, bones) His loony
circus music is particularly ace. I can recommend his best
if anyone is curious?

Also there are two new albums - Blood Money is better than
Alice imho.

I bought them both. Haven't really listened to Blood Money
yet but I love Alice - especially 'Everything You Can Think'
and 'Fawn'... Makes me want to cry in my whiskey.
He should take his gravel-eating talent to the circus.

They are all have a crossover of folk and jazz, some of his
stuff would be a brilliant soundtrack

Is Alice worth getting then? Cause i was tempted to buy it
the other day, but i didn't buy it because i just bought his
'Blood Money' album about 3 days before

They're both awesome, but this topic is disapointing on a
few levels.
