Expensive Things....

I'm quite shocked by how some things seem unjustifiably
expensive....for example I had to take my cat to the vet
today because has trouble chewing his food, and the
consultation fee with a small painkiller was just £30!! I
have to take him back on Tuesday for a tooth to be pulled
out and that's gonna cost me an extra £90!!!!!!! And to
top it all off, I'm paying f****ing pet insurance, and
looking at the small print - I may not be covered for dental
work!!

Why do we have to pay so much for things....what other
expensive things make you mad?

1st and foremost. The 2 things that piss me off so much
because theyre so expensive is:

Cd's and food.

Food, it's a necessitiy, why the hell should we have to pay
so much for it? I think it should be really cheap.

Cd's. $18.99? What are they tryin to pull? It dosen't cost
anywhere near that to make, why should we have to pay that
much. It's not like artists make that much on each cd
anyway.

I hate things that are expensive, especially if it's from
chain-store monopoly commericial garbage. So i hear ya man,
good luck with that.

CDs are so much more expensive over here in the UK, as
opposed to the US and Canada. Typically about £15, and DVDs
are about £20

I payed $3050 for my laptop, apple's prices are rediculous.
Wonder what it costs them to produce each one.

When I went to Canada £1 was more or less $2. So based on
that, CDs here are about $30 CA.

Glastonbury festival admission (£120) and food/drink prices
once inside (crap loaf of economy bread = £3 .. mmm tasty)

paying to witness pitiful football matches at places like
Stamford bridge & white Hart Lane for £30.

paying £5 tax to get into late night venues that are just
basically pubs with a late licence.

Anything to do with formula 1 motor racing which could do
with major re-invention if its ever going to become remotely
interesting again.

.....and I thought motorway service station food was
expensive - that takes the piss as well!

We are all being ripped off!

BTW: The trainers were nice....they said "Buy me!" . . . I
cried as I paid.... ;)

we are sounding a bit like anorak campaigners on local radio
phone-ins though aren't we ?

"Ooh, everythings so expensive these days, (whinge moan rant
rant !!)"

but Brits do get charged more, than nearly all other
Europeans for some reason... and I've never known why..
perhaps we are stupid !!

If you get rich, do me a favor, buy me a lamborghini. Just
