hi all,
I am planning on downloading some songs by autechre, but
since there are so damn many i wanted someone to suggest
some "good" ones for me to download, then i will get into
the "crapper" ones :)

I suggest you just start off with their first album,
Incunabula, then progress like they did to the current
sounds of Confield/Gantz Graf. Its far more interesting to
listen to the entire albums, as I find AE's work doesn't so
much comprimise of individual tracks. I wouldn't go straight
to confield or gantz graf tbh... all the people i've known
who listen to those albums as their first taste of Autechre
have instantly disliked them.

Theres a lot of good music to be had from AE, so get as much
as you can :)

The first AE songs I downloaded were Bike and Bronchus 2.
This never got me going on AE. I think the new stuff is far
better and if you check them out definately grab some tracks
from LP5 and later works.

new material isn't as listenable imo, i like the old stuff
better. I think im the only one who can't l isten to
