in nanou on widowlicker, is that a mbira rdj uses?that is
sweet if so, thats fuckin wicked, and if someone knows where
to get one send me a link. and yes its spelled
mbira(african). i also cant imagine him or someone else
creating those sounds it makes to sound so authentic to be
sampled. so explain your thoughts and comments...

I don't know what an mbira is, but I always thought the
sounds from Nannou were from a music box of some kind. Even
if they're synth, sounds like that's what he was going for.

Or maybe I have no idea what I'm talking about.

yah! what dozier said!

music box sounds about right to me, but i haven't heard (of)
this mbira thing.

Tasos: being happy is jus' a cheap way to get points, isn't
it?

i don't think it sounds like a music box -- too low and
"large" sounding

mmmaaayyyyybe, he modified it?

to be totally honest, i have no idea how rdj makes any of
his stuff, or how pretty much anyone makes any of their
stuff. music box is the most obvious to me tho.
