it can have some benifets... like bringing medicine to 3rd world countries...
but unfortunatly... globalization is headed by corperations that care not for world affairs... only money...

sounds impossible.. the way different cultures have evolved apart from one another and developed their own ideals and beliefs.

necessary, in what way? i don't think it is necessary at all. They move there corperations to another country with no regulations in the market place then pay there staff about 13 cents an hour.
I don't think that is necessary, its not eliminating world poverty like they claim, its making it worse.

yeah, maybe you're right... it reduces unemployement in poor countries, but it does it the worst way possible and increases unemployement in other countries because of delocalisation...
...they're so big now, can we do something against that?

i am still trying to find the names of the worst companies, the ones that have sweatshops in idonesia etc. i know nike, rebok, adidas, most sport clothing and footwear are are guilty. Sara lee the cheesecake manufacturer is guilty also
I saw a documentry on the conditions they are forced to work in, they work 12-16 shifts for about 2 dollars a day. all because the company wants to save $.
thats not a lot of money in there country, they are still living in places with no clean water, can only afford 1 meal a day.
plus that fact that they are taking jobs away from people in there own countrys who they should really be employing.
