so like, if you go through the warp catalouge, you see alot
of artists youve never heard of...

so do these people just plain suck or something?

it would suck to get signed to warp, and then you suck, so
they never release your stuff again, and no one knows who
you are.

i hope that doesnt happen to me!

why would they sign someone they thought sucked?

these unknown people? they obviously arnt good... cause they
would have made more then one record, and people would know
who they are...

Maybe they don't make as much music as the well known
artists do,but that doesn't mean they suck.
Don't forget those well known artists have been there for a
long time, building up their "popularity"(well...most of
them)
(I don't like the word 'popularity' ,but I can't find
another one)

I don't think warp signs artists who suck.
They sign artists in who they BELIEVE.

I like Seefeel a lot (ambient). I don't know if the Warp
album is still in print. They have albums on Too Pure and
Rephlex also.

Yep, Seefeel and Disjecta are excellent. Mark Clifford in
all his guises and whatnots is ace.

And there's someone called 'AFX', he's only released a
couple of things on Warp, but he's pretty good ;)

Chris Clark is the best new-signing to Warp by a long way.
Even APC who crafted the masterpiece that is Cloneman have
been luke-warm so far.

All of the early stuff on Warp is great one way or another.
Of course, the further back you go in the catalogue, the
more bleepy it all sounds, but that's cos it's how it was
back then! Ah! The good old days :)

Brothom States and Max Tundra are good.

Max Tundra has released an album on a different label before
coming to Warp, and his song 'Cakes' off that album is quite
good.

they dont suck, the reason why they only have one record on
warp is because they only did one of their albums on warp,
such as tortoise, they only got one album on warp but have
other stuff.. idiot
