Does anyone use GameSpy?

Anyone noticed that the main executable is called APHEX.EXE

wonder why that is...

I avoid it at all costs, though the Nintendo network for the
Gamecube is supposed to utilize it as the backbone......

Yeah it's a pretty awful flaky piece of software...
I guess the developers might like Aphex though...
