yeah, there's a cd called 'preemptive strike' with lots of
his material only previously released on vinyl, which was
long since gone. It got Influx on it, have you heard it? I
REALLY recommend you get that album, its got all the What
Does your Soul Look Like? parts on, took me a while to get
into but now I love them.

Anyway, its got 'Organ Donor (Extended Version) on it, and
yes, its a great track, the long version is so much better

Enjoy!

Yeah, i've been downloading it and I really like it. I've
been trying to work out whether it is more commercial or
whether that just my preconceptions because of the hype,
because I gotta admit, some of the tracks are relativelt
instant. Or maybe from being such a huge fan of his
beforehand I can get into it easily. Anyway, when i've got
time after my exams i'm going to go out and buy it.

I just got 'blackalicious - blazing arrow' and its really
good, quite funky (in fact very) and i'm sure i'm going to
be listening to it a lot more!

Yeah, I know, I was surprised by the likeableness of it -
not that Endtroducing wasn't likeable, but its really catchy
- like catchy catchy - not sure if its plastic - don't think
so .. but yeah.

HAd me a listen to blazing arrow a while ago, still not
entirely sure about it tho -

The original rack that Shadow sampled is on Brainfreeze I
think and also on UNKLE's Essential Mix for Radio 1 which
you can download.

I think the new abum is pretty poor. I've waited years for a
follow up and I'm really disappointed. The track he did for
the Dark Days soundtrack wasn't a good sign. It was good,
but just good. You expect more from Shadow.

".. original rack that Shadow sampled is on Brainfreeze I

Hey jonesy!

Yeah .. i just got a copy of Brainfreeze - that's some cool
stuff - very soulfull.

Yeah - private press is quite straightforward and is missing
that Shadow factor? imo - still, some nice drumming on it -
but yeah .. seems a bit uninspired or something? A
commercial success - perhaps
