69, I think. A great year, and a great sexual position, if
you can do it right. It can also be awkward and
distracting... practive makes perfect, you've got to learn
to GIVE as well as recieve.

Come on...
The Beatles- Abbey Road
The Who- Tommy
Captain Beefheart- Trout Mask Replica
Rolling Stones- Let it Bleed
Led Zeppelin- 1 AND 2!
The Stooges
Cream- Goodbye
Creedence Clearwater Revival- THREE albums!
MC5- Kick out the Jams
The Allman Brothers Band
The Velvet Underground
Sly and the Family Stone- STAND!
Jethro Tull- Stand Up
Blind Faith
Jeff Beck- Beck-Ola
Crosby, Stills and Nash
Frank Zappa- Uncle Meat
The Doors- Soft Parade
Santana
The Band
The Kinks- Arthur
King Crimson- In the Court of the Crimson King
Jefferson Airplane- Volunteers

etc etc, goes on and on. Bitter sweet, though, because the
Beatles broke up, a horrible thing that makes me scream.

What do you think was the best year in modern music
history?

And I'm not sure if Black Sabbath's first two albums were
from '69 or '70... it varies depending on what I read. So I
didn't list them... but I think AT LEAST the first one was
made in '69, just didn't get over here until '70 or
something.

Sabbath rocks! *sign of the devil

Its difficult to pick a year as there are so many great
albums. The 80`s must be the worst decade though in my
opinion.I would put UMMAGUMMA in your 69` list.

The VU didn't form in '69, but they released their self
titled album that year.
Just like the Beatles didn't form in '68 and Metallica
didn't form in '91. I hate it when bands self title
ANYTHING, especially when it's not their first album.
Confoosin'.
