Back up again for me...thank god...

I haven't been able to connect for over a month...but I
finally had a fiddle around with connection, got rid of shit
in my registry & installed ZoneAlarm and now I'm back up and
running...so who knows what the problem was...All I know is
it's working now (am dling the aphexation
comp...finally!!!)...

What a relief...was worried that I'd never get back on....

still doesn't work for me. someone please answer this
question - if i uninstall soulseek and re-install it, will i
lost my huge download queue?

also, how does one uninstall the patch alone? i didn't back
up my slsk.exe before using it :/

tits...I think if you reinstall it'll keep all your current
settings....

BUT I'm not 100% sure on that so might be worth installing
the latest ver to a diff dir & then copying SLSK.EXE &
SOULSEEK.EXE to your old dir...and then run from there
(you'll need to change the Soulseek on your startmenu to
point at your old one too)...

a couple of things.....one....soulseek was down for me for
several days.
error message
'can not find server.' i saw the patch that someone posted
on the MB, however before doing anything i just tried
starting soulseek and BAM it logged on fine...W/O the patch.

sooo......thats that

yesterday.....i donated 5 bucks US via pay pal.....and today
i received a message from NIR thanking me for my donation
and saying that i get 'one month' premium
service.....whatever that is. while i was playing
tetris....a couple friends had soulseek problems...lost
there queues etc....and mind worked perfectly....

what does that say.....i dunno.....but i'm not having any
problems....didn't have to reinstall or install a
patch....and i paid and it's working fine.

good luck to those having problems!

yes, the patch doesnt work anymore, it was a temp. thing.

i dont think u can un-install the patch. just uninstall the
prog and d.l soulseek again from there site.

it didnt seem to ask for my password so you should be fine
:D ..im sure there is a way to get ya password back, might
involve asking the guy who runs it.
