yes i love this film! one of my favourite horror films of all time - there's always been a debate over which version is better, because the tv-movie is more loyal to the book.
basically, if you're a die-hard King fan, you prefer the TV version. However, if you're a movie/horror buff or Kubrick fan, you like the Kubrick version.
I like the Kubrick version. =D

Well, Sam Jacks did die in it! and he was the biggest star and the pointential hero character of the movie, until he got eaten by that genetic altered super-shark :D

Just look the "Kubrick" version, its the best one. Ist awnsome....amazing...what ever....The best horror ever made...
