Why are there so many dismissive comments about Selected Ambient Works 2 on this site? and about RDJ's album? They are easily the two best easily availible Aphex records availible, and yet people are warned to stay away from SAW 2... Frankly SAW 85-92 is sounding really dated these days, it's definitely good, but it screams 808 and what not. It's SAW 2 that is really stunning, a fantastic work that i have loved deeply for the past 6 years, and it's extremely annoying to come to an Aphex Twin fan site and see his best and supposedly most challenging work dismissed as too hard to listen to, or worse yet as being a JOKE. |

Who puts down SAWII? I defend it all the time its great. But RDJ album is not one of his more imaginitive works. Oh and 808 State is good. |

SAWII is praised by many on this site,.. I reckon that the amount of people here who like it heavily outweigh the ones that don't,.. stay around a couple of weeks more and you'll know what I mean :) |

Yeah a lot of people visit this site and Don't post regularly or at all on this wonderful messageboard. So.. the votes represent a bit of a different side of things. personally SAWII is higher up that 6th place. Personally. >:D |

I meant in the main bios posted on the site. you read the "intro to aphex twin" materials on here and MULTIPLE TIMES you'll find SAW 2 refered to as being possibly a joke. what a crock. |
