i love this album
i can't remember when was the last time i liked an entire
album as much as this one
i usually like about half tracks on particular album-i like
about eighty percent on this one
my favourite track so far is six days
its been a while since shadow released anything, but it was
worth waiting for

i dont know, i bought the single for "you cant go home
again" about a week before the album got released, and i
wasnt really that impressed. i wanted to hear something
similar to "Entroducing" cos that record changed the way i
listened to music.

for the first time i listened to it i wasn't too impressed
with it, but now that i heard it for the 5th time i love
it-and when you get into it-i must say it sounds pretty much
as entroducing

"That's why i walk and talk this way, I'm a bad mutha fuckin
DJ."

I really enjoy the album too. Don't exactly remember the
tracks I like a lot, I think maybe 12 and 13?

I don't remember, I'll have to double check.

its pretty good, a few of the tracks aren't as good as the
others but i still thinks its a good cd, but entroducing is
better.

i dont really like #12 and six days i thinks its called too
much and the 1st and last tracks kind of get in the way of
the album's flow.

Damnit, you sure it's backwards? :]

I dunno, sounds like mine goes together better. Maybe yours
is backwards!!!

And we'll the critics are saying that it's doubtful that he
will ever top Entroducing, and with good cause the album was
flawless IMO.

pre emptive strike was the first dj shadow album i bought.

it was one of my first "electronic" ones too. in fact after
i heard it, i sold my drums and bought equipment, and thus
began the road that i began to write music, and eventually
go to college for music.

Uhhh, I guess it's like an Ambient/Techno/(bits of trance
melodies)

Mainly a melodic Ambient I believe, the album is from 1993.

I've been trying to track the guy down, but no such luck.
His debut was off Zoe Magic in San Francisco.
