The Best Work of Aphex Twin!!

Bad Guy from Nowhere on 2001-07-18 05:25 [#00016089]

Hi,I'm new to Aphex Twin and I just wanna know which is
ADDMITTEDLY his best work?"Selected Ambient Works
85-92"or"Selected Ambient Works Vol.2"?

Thanks & best regards!!

Xanatos from NYC on 2001-07-18 05:41 [#00016093]

admittedly? Like which one RDJ says is the best?

Honestly...I can't picture him making a public announcement
saying "...is my best work ever". I'd be surprised if such
a thing exists.

I would love if he said something like this about drukqs:

"i'ts the best shit i've recorded to date"

and i would also love that to be true :) probably will..
lets wait

I can't wait for the new album, its gonna be killer, im
gonna buy it save it for that night, lie in bed when its
dark and late and quiet, play it from the start to finish!
thats how i listen to most new cds I get! this one will be
special hahaha.

but It think SAWII is better in my opinion, more substance,
SAWI is awsome, but SAWII has more...... umph.. haha.

>:D

I suggets not to have your expectations for drukqs too
high... you may end up dissapointed.

Phobiazero from Sweden on 2001-07-18 08:57 [#00016154]

SAW 85-92 and SAW II are two completely different styles of
music. Actually, you can't compare them, but I reckon SAW
85-92 is much more accessable while SAW II really wanna eat
your soul.

Buy them both. That's my advice.

Bad Guy from Nowhere on 2001-07-18 15:04 [#00016332]

Is that all you can tell me about Aphex Twin? Are you a NEW
to him too?
And don't know which is ADDMITTEDLY his best work?

SHAME ON YOU,KID

Phobiazero from Sweden on 2001-07-18 15:14 [#00016338]

The question was regarding SAW 85-92 OR SAW II,
right?

on 2001-07-18 15:21 [#00016341]

Phobia: Don't get dragged into it. He's winding you up.

Bad Guy from Nowhere on 2001-07-18 16:16 [#00016360]

Sorry Phoebiazero,I'm not trying to wind you up but my
previous message is for Xanatos, the first and most
meaningless reply I've ever seen!!

I apologize if I've made any confusion,ok?

Dirty Priest from Denmark on 2001-07-18 18:56 [#00016378]

Thats subjective!

you will properly end up buying them both in the last end so
dont wory!

they are wery different from each other the two albums. the
only resemblence is the titles really!

Xanatos from NYC on 2001-07-18 20:09 [#00016399]

What do you mean by admittedly?

Bad Guy from Nowhere on 2001-07-19 04:34 [#00016436]

The word"ADDMITTEDLY"I mean is the album by a band/artists
that is most praised by the public among all of their album
like:

radiohead-ok computer
can-tago mago
nirvana-nevermind

|REFLEX| from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada on 2001-07-19 05:09 [#00016439]

Nirvana is a great band. Or rather was.
