I can't believe I caught this thread while it's still fresh.... Nevada is just like any other major metropolitan area except that the high rise buisnness buildings are called casinos. Everything else is really flat because it gets rather hot, which I'm used to becuse California's hot too. Although in California most of the neghborhoods are segragated (not by law) so pretty much white kids go to school with more white kids, mexicans go to school with more mexicans, blacks go to school with more blacks and asians go to school with more asians. So far from what I've noticed out here is that people from all different backgrounds live and work around each other with no problems. I don't have cable and it's not possible to pick up any kinda signal with an antennae so I haven't seen any television for a month. Except today was my first day at Mc Donalds and there is a tv in the breakroom so i was watchin' that for a while after my shift was over. Oh yeah, you can't tell anyone this info but, I'm thinkin' about "getting rid of" my roomate somehow. so if sometime in the future you see or hear anything about some guy in vegas in trouble or something, Phob has to destroy this thread. How 'bout you and your project? |
