I have tried to order some of the Gescom-releases from
different places on the net, without succeeding. So I'm just
gonna DL them. Can you people rank the Gescom releases? Wich

well,

download keynell and the autechre remixes for sure.

the motor ep sucks imo, but if you like monotonous beats, by
all means.

the gescom eps 1&2 are nice and kind of essential, i think.

lego feet, just for fun really, a long mix of toy music

the minidisc-very experimental, worth the download

this ep and that ep are very interesting. good stuff

the sound of machines our parents used ep, also pretty much
essential. go sheep off this ep is very hip hop-y

there are also some loose tracks lingering on soulseek which
are quite nice, especially skfl2 and leritue (gibber mix)

anyway, DO get keynell :)

Yeah, i like "the sound our..." much more that the average
AE-release. The B-side sounds so great!

Definately. I was getting into Clear when this record came

I think the minidisc is not a good find to start with
Gescom: It's very very experimental. Personally i don't like
it

Motor is more dancefloor oriented. Anyway, not a bad record

Spacepimp!?!?? Is that a Gescom release?

No it's by some unkown artist called Acem(suspicious!). It
came out on Clear records shortly after "the sond.." single.
It is a class track. See if you can get hold of an mp3.

i'm in the process of downloading the gescom eps - i've got
gescom 1 and motor so far (i say if you can't find it at a
reasonable price, download it). i think 'five' of gescom 1
is pretty cool. and motor is growing on me.

i ordered keynell as well from some place (as well as tri
repetae ++)...i'm just hoping theyre stocking it.

Oh, OK! Clear was a great label. I have "It's all becoming
Clear" - the comp - and its ace! I didn't get hold of many
of their other releases though, what shame. Doctor Rockit
was fun and the stuff Kirk Degiorgio released on Clear was
also good....
