Cause Parachutes didn't sell well. and if this cd sells
like it or worse, they said they're going to split up

yeah, parachutes is great... I don't get this though, I say
just keep trying right... if the next one doesn' sell well,
well just try again!! But what do I know?

Yeah...you're right Funk....they should keep trying. it
would be the best thing i guess. but they'll be loosing
money as well..and you can't keep putting out cds that arn't
selling. in their case...if this new cd doesn't sell...take
what you got and go.

anyways though, I figured it was selling well... I mean
Yellow, and Trouble, and Don't Panic were all over Muchmusic

successful

they ARE succesful. Their album Parachutes was number 1 in
England for a while and sold LOADS.

YES! they are •probably• going to split up after this
album but
NO! not because they weren't selling. Just because Chris
Martin (the singer) doesn't think that he can release many
albums of the same quality as their first (which most
bands/artists can't anyway). He doesn't want to bring out
albums just for the sake of it.
So if he comes up with another BRILLIANT album after this
next one then I'm sure they'll release it.

They're probably going to split because they now have stacks
of cash and don't need to do anything ever egain.
