Everyone wanted to be the Wizard in Gauntlet and no one
wanted to be the Wizard in Games Workshops Heroquest board
game.

It doesn't matter anyway coz I'm one now!

(3 topics in one)

and the hero-quest wizard was not as strong as the dwarf
or the barbar.
and his spells were useless,
and we didn't know how to use the spells.
it was too difficult.

I'd rather play with 'elve'

In gauntlet, everyone I knew wanted to be the elf. I'm not
too big a fan of heroquest...

neither am I.... it was the kid version of Warhammer then
the attitude of the game leaked into the Games Workshop and
everything got simplified for kids... (and more expensive)

It now sucks. I used to love games workshop.... I had a huge
Ork army for 40,000.

Noticed you like Dark Eldar Ceri.... They weren't around in
my time there.
