Dirty Priest from Denmark on 2001-07-17 13:49 [#00015842]

DIRTY PRIEST! its me!

I´ve fucked around with fruityloops and cooledit 2000 for
two years, and only first in the past 2 weeks i´ve made
something i´m happy with!

when i think about my music i think about the music that
would be played at a gnome discotheque. actually its kind of
"melodies from mars" like. I used to make Hardcore noise and
irritating wannabee braindance but i´m over that now. Its
Pixi bongo now!
i think i want to add lyrics to my music, ala bogdan
raczynski (pitched up and down distorted) to make it more
interesting. Only wizard theeth (and perhaps barry fox) have
heard my musix. and he has experienced the evolvement as i
started sending him shit, and now the results are getting
better and better!

FUCK! i just got an idea!

Wizard teeth could write the lyrics!!

that would be wicked as hell!
dont you want your poesy in music?
think about it. (mail me)

i also think i´m want to start a bank at mp3.com anytime
soon. This dosnt cost anything does it!?

hevquip from an egren's coffee shop on 2001-07-17 16:15 [#00015893]

i make music as hevquip. some of it can sound like autechre,
some of it can sound like cylob. i have no musical
experience, so most songs come from me messing about with my
equipment.

The Grey Gentleman from Eugene, Oregon on 2001-07-18 04:22 [#00016073]

Name:
The Grey Gentleman

Genre:
I don't have one, if I had to pick I'd say experimental, I
mess around with all sorts of "styles", though. I'm all over
the board :-P

Influences:
None really, except random experiences I have. Don't wanna
sound like anyone else.

Inspirations (There's a difference):
RDJ of course, Cylob, the Everly Brothers, Ween, Motown,
50's/60's pop, Eno's ambient stuff, random noises out in
public. I'm one of those people who will be walking down a
hallway and notice its cool reverb effects.

I just make tracks for fun, really. I already have a rather
well-paying job and all that, and it's nice cuz I can buy
lots of equipment, but if someone were wanting to pay me on
the side to make music that would be right cool, eh? hah!

Where to find my music:
http://absent.org/~greygent

Also (But not all my tracks get posted here):
http://artists.mp3s.com/artists/269/the_grey_gentleman.html

|REFLEX| from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada on 2001-07-18 04:42 [#00016079]

I dont have any tunes that anyone can hear but ive been
messing with some analogue synth stuff and having fun with
that, experimenting and shit. Ive been playing music and
making my own shit for so long now.. years. I used to make
really weird bass guitar sounds, and riffs and such record
that... record over top of it with some crazy drum stuff
interesting id say.

>:D

mmm.wp3.cow/artificialselection
There is some ok stuff. These are mostly little experiments
that aren't to be taken too seriously. I recently found a
very interesting technique for making music, that I havn't
uploaded or anything. It actually uses the process of
natural evolution. First I make something (I made it so it
won't sound terribly interesting). Now I mutate it into a
lot of different types, then I select from these the best
that I like. Re-mutate, re-select. Repeat. I've made some
very weird stuff this way, well one song so far, it's still
in the process of evolving.

rob fragilenine from everywhere on 2001-07-18 08:39 [#00016145]

I am in the process of checking out everyone's music.

MC Phuqhead: I tried to access your site, but it took me to
a blank page.

Aron?: I listened to your song 'Invisible Limits'. The drum
sounds you used are very clean and professional sounding, as
well as the pad sounds. You have a nice complex/ambient
sound there. It would have been nice to see some drum
reversing in there, and filter sweeps on the drums...

Artificial Selection: You know I like your music. Quite
odd.

od: Yep. Good. Excellent. What's your web address? Isn't it
www.ampcast.com/orangedust or something?

More soon...

money...

Wizard MaC from Amersfoort on 2001-07-18 13:09 [#00016228]

Name : Wizard MaC

Year/Style
1998 : hardcore & experimental
1999 : experimental & hardcore & (a little bit) trance
2000 : experimental
2001 : experimental
--
I call most of my music experimental because most tracks
sound different (compared with eachother) and they don't
really fit into a known music-style.
--

Right now 4 of my newer tracks are on the internet
(TraxInSpace)
More music available when I got my own internetconnection.
(Then I will master my tracks in MP3 for better
sound-quality than XM)

Not really Springymajig- I was just getting tired of all
these post which are pretty much the same, and I no longer
feel the need to post my music anymore, its doing well on
its own now, and Id prefer not to have everyone listening to
it with their judgements ready and aimed at me, you know,
take it or leave it.
