I was walking home after work today, and there it was, sitting on the sidewalk, a wad of 20's! It turned out to be $160, and now I'm battling with my conciounse as to whether I keep it or try to find who lost it. What should I do? What would YOU do? |

That happened here actually, a cop who was off duty and walking his dog found a backpack with 1 million in cash in it. He took it to the station adn after something like a month it wasnt claimed so he got to keep it. They figure it was part of a drug deal so whoever it belonged to wasnt exactly going to walk into the police station to claim it. |

i'd try to find who lost it, just imagine working for two weeks and then losing your pay. hand it over to the police. you don't want to ruin some poor chaps day. christ, it might be his rent money, or food money. |

no guaruntee that the person who lost it would even check the police station, he might've already given up on it (especially if he - or she - is rich). if that's so, might as well bring it to the station and pick it up again in a month.. |

Strangeky enough I alos found a wallet a wek or so back... Loas of Credit bards, ATM tc...and library ticket... BUT wasn't only £10 cash...so I got in contact with teh guy vis VIAS and he popper around that evening to collect...I think he assumed I had the £10 but fuck, what's that compared to the hasle of lost CC's.... My vaguely good deed for the decade...;).. |

I've been up all night working on some paintings (48hrs so far but I'm used to it)......but got day off otday, after from helping with some geninue mental case as volutery wrok...it's Art Therpy and I get a buzz from helping...)... even if it costs me a days worth a wages....but I do enjoy feeling I'm helping some needy people....
