I'll explain: I want a basic t-shirt with the Aphex Twin logo printed on the front. How wouldI go about doing that? Are there special tailor places where I can pay to have that logo stitched in or what??
Also, if I were to get such a shirt, what would be the best colour combination? I think a white shirt with a brown/black AFX logo on the front would be the best. . .

Or how about "Come To Daddy" stitched on the front and the AFX logo on the back?

just find somebody who can silkscreen things, give them the logo, and find a white t-shirt.

i just made a shirt like that. Its a basic white shirt with a black aphex logo.
I bought some black fabric paint, a small brush and some special sticker-like paper with a grid on it so you can easily draw and cut out the logo, then put it on your shirt without having to keep it in place yourself. After you painted it you let it dry, then you iron it into the shirt for a few minutes, with a protective cloth between the shirt and the iron.
You could also ask around in photo/printshops, but it will cost you more.

I'm not sure...
there are shops that do it for pretty a reasonable price I think...
just make sure it's silkscreened. much better quality that way...
good luck!

Wouldn't it be cool, though, if every Aphex Twin fan walked around with a shirt with the AFX logo on it?? That'd be awesome, fellow AFX fans recognizing fellow AFX fans at the grocery store, in the mall, at the movie theatres!

well, most people just look at the logo, then a weird unexplainable expression appears on their faces, and then they just walk on. And thats how its supposed to be. So yeah, that would be cool but i doubt you'll see a lot of fans..
I wouldnt ever want Aphex Twin to be in the charts. Windowlicker has been, but only cuz of the video of course. The music is just as great, but the people dont even realise this. So, aphex will not be mainstream.
As it is obvious enough for me that no harm can be done, when showing the Aphex Twin logo in public places, i will soon be starting a massive logo sticker mission.

Yeah people who don't know shit about Aphex Twin won't recognize the logo for what it is, but if someone asks you, you can explain, and they'll recognize the symbol next time they see it. . . .
I too would not want Richard D. James all of the sudden becoming popular, showing up on TRL out of the blue, hearing his music videos on the radio alonside *nsync and Britney Spears, but come on!!! It's not like that will ever happen, but it would be positively thrilling if I saw someone else walking around with the same shirt, identifying them as an Aphex enthusiast. And if EVERY Richard D. James fan started wearing one, then I'm sure it would start to crop up SOME attention.
People would see the symbol more often and take note of it, and wonder what it meant, or what it was.
BTW, what DOES it mean? What is the symbolism supposed to be? I always thought that it doesn't really mean anything at all, but I dunno.

Ok I see that you are from Canada. Cool, I might be able to help you.
Just go to any store that makes the photographs (here it is usually chineese people who have it) and ask them if they can print the photo on a white t-shirt. It should not cost you more than 15-20$.
I think any store that can produce pictures from a photo-camera films can do it for you. Just print out the logo on a piece of paper and give it to them instead of the photograph (that they would normally use to print on a t-shirt).
T-shirt is 100% cotton!
