I installed Audiogalaxy yesterday, and this stupid GAIN
thing keeps coming up with ads. Theres no trace of it in
Add/Remove programs, nor is there a Start Menu item for it.
How can I destroy it for good, short of losing AUdiogalaxy?
I dont fancy using Ad-Aware to get rid of spyware, cos itll
prolly naff the system up, although I'd be willing to use it
if it was safe ennuf.

i deleted the contents of my gain folder (c:\Program
Files\GMT) and put a small harmless application in that
folder (world clock) and renamed the .exe file to GMT.exe.
Now when i start my computer it launches my world clock on
startup instead of gain, and ag works fine too.

Audiogalaxy keeps telling me my satellite is out of date,
and I should download the new one.. but I've heard bad
things about it and haven't bothered updating, and I can

Hey, have they released an Audiogalaxy Lite, like they did
with Kazaa? And if so, is it functional?

i used Adaware on my computer (i use audiogalaxy) and
everything is fine. Adaware found something like 200
suspicious files. I deleted them all and im still happily
downloading from audiogalaxy.
