nice one, bargain.
a mates just picked up a pair of technics decks, one is a
1900 model, and the other is even older, cream coloured, old
bestly things, 50 euros for the pair, mint condition, used a
few times then put in a garage by some old guy, unbeleivable

Behringer rocks! good choice. i love there gear its
quality, but there prices are ridiculously low. I swear
other companies that make similar products hate behringer
because they put stuff out so cheap. I still need to get a
compressor and some effects processors, im way poor so i'll
be going with behringer.

behringer does rock :)

would you by any chance know where to get ahold of a power
supply specifically for a MX 802A? the only downside to my
purchase is that it didn't come w/a power supply :(

obviously, i need one to run the thing... so it's kind of
useless right now :(

Behringer are cheaper because they've been shown to have
copies other companies such as mackie and have recently lost
a court case....they also use cheap chinese labour

but then I got a behringer too so I can't complain

you don't need a power supply directly for it, usually on
the back it has information like 15 D/C or something like
that. write that down and then go to an electronics store
and say "listen up, this is what i need"

oh no... behringer's have special made power supplies...
it's this weird ass 3 prong circular connection that all the
stores here where I live don't carry. Radioshack people are
dumb so that is out of the question... it is turning out to
be a bitch to retrieve a power supply :(

quoth: die bee is right!
don't waste yr money.
pick up the sony [forgets model number..] shit!
anyway, it's the most expensive portable minidisk recorder
by sony.
it has 4x compression and mic in that works amazing for
sampling with their stereo mic!
you should hear how great it sounds!
minidisks will last a hell of a lot longer becasue there are
less moving internal components.
also the quality of sound on mini disc is equally comparable
[even better imo] than dat tape.
for the two it is $800 canadian from the shop, so on ebay in
USD it's like ¢50!

behringer equipment is tha bomb babee!
they are a straight rip off of mackie's and 1/3 the price!
quality.
that's all that matters!
