i mean what do they actually do when they make art? where
does art come from? btw i classify visual art and music as
different facets of the same thing.

art is how we express emotions. some people do it by
painting, some by writing, some by making music

and then there are those so far removed from society that
they hole themselves up and do all three and then some, and
then a bit more!
=)

heheh cool skodt. i had a look at some of your pics in the
first link, i deem you talented!
roygbivcore, yes i agree, some emotions can be expressed
only thru art as there are no english words for them. But is
there more to art than just emotions?

Wow really nice drawings man. They remind me of Edward Gorey
in a way.

good ol ed, eh?!
thanks i appreciate that!
he was a rather large influence at one point, amongst many
more, quite a way back!
all the little kohl eyed children!
his humour was what got me rolling!
but he's moved on now....

Yeah, those drawings are pretty good. akvarels right?

Everyone should buy the book "Drawing on the right side of
the brain"

thanks!
ralph steadman is pretty rad, too!
[there's no ink in my stuff though!]
if akvarel is watercolour, then no, there isn't any of that
either.
i use oil paint amongst a horde of other things [some
dangerous!]
MWA HA HA HA cough [dangerous chemicals finally take effect
after five years of exposure]
[falls off chair....
floomp...
into a heap.
