some of the songs on their debut 'vegas' are ok, but not
really what i'm into. heard a bit of their 2nd album (which
contains the aforementioned single) and did not care for it
at all.

I got Vegas just for the heck of it. I usually don't like
big beat music...and I still don't. I only liked that one
song off Vegas that goes "Cckkc You are go" cause it was
in a car commercial and thought it was phat at the time.

I hated their new cd. I hate groups that count on 'one
liners' in their song to sell...it's pointless and doesn't
do the song any good when the person gets board of hearing
"Calling all freaks" for like...the 150th time!!!

"i guess i didn't know. get busy child!"

my least fave on the debut

I don't like that song either. used WAY too much. You get
sick of it afterawhile and it just feels...like constipation

hehe :)

I got vegas and I love just about every song on the album.
Tweekend is another story - not really fond of any song on
that one. heh. Nice liner artwork though.

Hmmm I have (actually purchased, with cold hard cash!) both
The Crystal Method albums. . . . I know they're not THAT
great, but they were my first ever exposure to electronica,
with their "Busy Child" song from the Lost in Space
soundtrack. . . also their Vegas cd was the first cd I ever
bought.

Tweekend was something of a dissapointment, but it DOES have
some good stuff on it!

i like 'em, its good big beat stuff, nothing special, nice
and lighthearted tho

To me they're not so much big-beat (the Chemical Brothers)
as they are break-beat (Hybrid). They use acid elements
like TCB and such, but their beats are much more trippy.

I agree with Deathsmith, I dont really see TCM as being
big-beat.

Tweekend is the only album I never get tired of.

The bombshelter is one bad ass studio.

Id love to see where RDJ's studio.

That is, I would love to see RDJ's studio.

I love the crystal method... but you gotta be in the right
mood. Its great for blasting in your car when you're
cruisin.

I like vegas and tweekend, cause i think they are really
different.

vegas is very... how to describe it... nieve... but in a
good way.

tweekend is defianlty more mature.

dunno

Hmm interesting opinions, Zeus, and Ctrl Alt Del, but to the
latter fellow (CAD), have actually been to TCM's studio or
something? And as for RDJ's studio. . . I don't think
there's much to see there, since nowadays he makes alot of
his material on laptops instead.
