Jubilee Celebrations...

Does any other country celebrate things in the same style
as the British do, with things like the Queen's Jubilee that
is happening here.

Whether or not you like them or not, you've got to admit it
is quite spectacular, all the soldiers and gold carriages,
concerts around the city.....and a flyover later on today
with Concorde and our Red Arrows...

I'm not a royalist, but if it weren't for them - I'd be in
work today!

*waves Union Jack flag*

*waves flag as well*

Did you see the party at the palace? I think everyone was
waiting for Ozzy to embaress everyone and shout "Let's go
fucking crazy!!!" but he was well behaved. Although he came
on too early AGAIN and missed his intro (he did the same
thing on the Jonathan Woss show)

Yes I wondered whether or not he'd do or say something to
embarass everyone!

I know people in work who were going there - they had
tickets!

me...I'm just a very bitter taxpayer...string em up, I need
a new humanskin lampshade..

Might happen...

Corcorde is a dodgy plane...

And the Red Arrows arn't adverse to having a few pints
beforehand...

And what a lovely Firework display it would be....I'm sure
it would be much appreciated especially if they crashed into
bucko palace or perhaps the dome...

Let me have my anarcho dreams...they're all I've left to
cling onto...

Bucko Palace - lol!!

Could you imagine the if one of the Red Arrows caught the
wing of another whilst flying in formation, causing Concorde
and a few 'arrows' to crash into the Millennium Dome, that'd
be so embarassing for this country!

I'll be watching later on this afternoon - and if anything
like this happens, I'll know who the number one suspect is?

;)

so, what's gonna happen to this dome anyway? Heard it was
going to be sold to the japanese?

Music/Concerts....i think is the latest! Unless of course
I'm wrong. It was going to be a business park.

(They couldn't find a big enough plane to fly it over to
Japan!!)

he, but that new year eve was rather cool, anyway... even if
that wasn't exactly the beginning of a new millenium...

Yes it was cool!
I went to the Dome during it's twelve month period of which
it was open to the public, and I liked it! I'm glad I went!

The Queen is leaving the cathedral now - probably going to
McDonalds for lunch!

The carnival towards the palace was quite good - bit of a
waste that Queen wasn't even there to see it !

This country should do more of this kind of thing. The
problem is, in this country people tend to be too stuffy, in
my opinion anyway!

Makes you wonder whether the royals like this kind of thing!
They're all sat there with forced smiles!

She's getting on a bit though isn't she? I see they
presented her with a brand new £5million car today! Glad
to see my tax is being spent well!

I expect her car is kitted out like a 'Bond' car - you
think so for £5million wouldn't you?

Mind you for £5million, I'd expect the car to drive itself!
;)

Did anyone have a street party?
I went home to my parents on Sunday where they were having a
party...
I was really funny seeing all the old people get pissed and
dancing in the road.
I ended up snogging their neighbours daughter who is only 20
(I'm 29) eeek

I'm seeing her again Friday :)

is the world coming too
