Ren and Stimpy (TV): TV Guide reports that Viacom have hired the show's creator John Kricfalusi to create new episodes (starting with a feature-length film) of the series for cable station TNN. John K. himself did the voices for Ren. Billy West did the voice for stimpy. when John was fired Billy ended up with the voice of Ren. Nobody does Ren better than John, he IS Ren :Þ |

becuase of this topic last night i had this dream: ren and stimpy won a brit award (UK version of grammy for the unfamiliar) but not for a song they sung, but for producing a Strokes song. only, the song is hidden on their album and no one in the UK has been able to find the hidden track ren & stimpy produced. it's supposed to be some ridiculous cover tune. anyway, it was just weird. a week ago i had a dream where xltronic came to life in form of dracula's castle and phobiazero was a real life count dracula, and he invited me there to terrible things to me. i kid you not. |

rocko is played on the alternate nick channels if you have satellite. i don't, but my cousins do. they also have pete & pete on there! i wish i had satellite. last summer, vh1 played r & s episodes from 12 to 1 am, hosted by none other than billy west himself! it was way sweet, unfortunate i didn't tape them. |

yeah i see rocko on every once and while. pete and pete is great, but it's on a different channel. ever notice how they allways take all the best shows, that are just reaching their prime, off the air for several years, then rerun them years later on some crappy channel at some random time? |

It's been about ten years since we made the last Ren & Stimpy, so we dug up some of the old stories that never did get produced; some of the ones that were maybe a little too edgey for a kid's program, we said, well this would be a good way to break into it this season, and started thinking up new ideas. And then, within a week-and-a-half we realized new ideas were a lot funnier than the old ones. We're in primetime now, so a lot of the censorship issues that we had to worry about when we were doing kid's programming...are pretty much gone.
