burningn'n'tree's great. excellent break slicing and dicing madness. I don't have any plaid records, though.

hmmm...completely different...but both great burningn n' tree = classic squarepusher ..w/ jazzy bass playing + tweaked out/sped up breaks with some acid thrown in for good measure
not for threes= classic plaid...beautiful plonky melodies...some tracks with female vocals (one with bjork :) ...somewhat reminiscent of bytes at times

Both excellent. Burning'n Tree is far from my favorite SP full-length though. Not for threes rocks.

Any idea where SQPR got that Burning NTree name from?...I always kinda read it as some ref to my home town of Braintree/BraiNTREE (10miles from where SQPR comes from and he's mentioned a club in Braintree in one other song, The Barn (303 Kebab mix) ???)...you see my thinking?...
dunno if that's right or not, just something I always wonder about when I see that album title... still at least Chelmsford gets a mention in one song title!!! all it's fucking good for, to be honest...this town don't have no soul but perhaps I haven't lived here long enough yet....

say it out loud 'burning an entry' that makes sense..considering its a collection of his first releases...his 'entry' into the music world
