Im assuming everyone here likes Pink Floyd. If not, well
there's something wrong. RIght now im listening to the
wall, wow what a great album. I love the earlier Syd
Barrett stuff and also love the mid seventies stuff and even
like the division bell. Well i guess this a dumb question
since I can't pick a fav. ill list a top five

1. Piper at the gates of dawn
2. animals
2. saurceful of
fuck it they are all great

The Wall for me... I just love the story, and the music is
fantastic... it's so touching!!! my other favorites are Wish
You Were Here, and Meddle... Dark Side is ok, but doesn't do
much for me... and I also like The Division Bell a lot!!

I only own Dark Side of the Moon and Wish You Were Here, and
they're both fantastic. I've seen The Wall and I liked it a
lot, I need to get more Floyd....

Oohh, I grew up listening to Pink Floyd. My dad had their
stuff on vinyl. All of it is good but Dark Side of the Moon
is better. Everyone has heard of Dark Side of The Moon. I
have a huge poster of the album cover on my wall.

roger waters is such an asshole..... i dont care much for
him at all..

his writing got worse with time....
then everything after animals that he wrote just sucked imo

he just got more and more arrogant, selfish, and bitter
all his stuff (and more and more the later stuff) is just
him feeling sorry for himself

but anyways, here it is:
(in no particular order)
Dark Side of the Moon (of course)
Animals (could u be any more bitter?)
The Wall (could u feel any more sorry for urself?)
Relics (im not sure if it was actually an album.... or just
a collection of early hits?)
Piper at the Gates of Dawn (good old psychodelic stuff...)

1. Atom Heart Mother

Dunno, generally prefer early floyd. Dark Side on they
started going down hill imho (despite going up hill in terms
of sales)?

Worthy of Mention: Jugband Blues off Saurcerful.. Careful of
that Axe Eugene off Relics/UmmaGumma Live.

Some cool tape xperimentation went on.

I have MEddle burned on cd, and it's funny cause my friend

joke, but it's quite a constrast... it's funny!! :)

Anyone ever see Pink Floyd Live at Pompeii? I used to have
the VHS and it was stolen. Great versions of Echoes and
Careful With That Axe Eugene ... Dave Gilmour looked really
spaced out.

I think DSOTM is the best Floyd... the Barrett era was
great, but the slow, plodding Floyd that came later was even
better... although only for a few albums. The Gilmour-led
modern Floyd is overblown and blah... WYWHere is another
great example of slow and steady winning the race, and
rocking my ass.
