Actually, Im come to the conclusion after hearing a bunch of dls ... that I don't care for most of them... :/ they sound too old to me and I was really never a fan of the hippy phase and that long hair jimmy hendrix guitar type thing (i don't care for that guy). I do like jude though and Yesterday. maybe I need to give it more time.

Cre, I totally forgot about it, that's the best song ever made. I say that about everything though.
Amon, were you dropped on your head often as a child? :-) You don't like Strawberry Fields Forever or I am the Walrus, but you like Yesterday? Sacre bleu!!!!

and all Revolver and White Album.

I was once inclined to dislike the Beatles because they're TOO popular..
loads of people only like their early / Late sound. So I decided to listen to both and found myself enjoying the later stuff most, Abbey Road in particular. I have probably heard their Number 1 hits enough times for one lifetime though

I agree, I'm not a big fan of their early pop stuff... there's some brilliant pure pop songs, but a lot of them just don't measure up.
But Rubber Soul in 1965 was when they really went into overdrive, they were flawless after that.
