yeah, yeah--i know i posted about this a while ago,,,
but again today i was listening to the "a phexation"
compilation that aktium put together, and i realized that
all of those on the comp. are really f**kin talented. i
love all of the music on there.

anyways,,, i wanted to know whose responsible for the kick
ass music for it.

some are obvious, like The Funkmaster and Aktium and Ceri
JC,,, but others were names i'd never seen. if all of you
who were on aktium's cd could please just post your artist
name under this topic, i'd really appreciate it. you all
are very talented cats, and i'd like to look out for more of
your music in the future,,,

(and if you are interested in telling me some influence of
the song, and what programs and instruments you used, feel
free)

i'll start: brendan ether-brendan ether (haha,,, of course)

for some reason Aktium didn't put my name with my track!

apparently, its only called "camb2".... with no "AMinal - "
before it.... d'oh!

anyways... as you may have guessed, my track is "camb2"

do u like it?
what do u think?

i used only fruityloops.... as for influences.... uh.... i
dunno, everything (maybe SAW1 in particular?
i didn't have a particular song or album in mind though)

well, I used Fruity Loops for that song... and influence?
Well, the intro was something I was trying to do, whether it
was a good attempt or not, kinda like the way Jega started a
lot of his songs out on Geometry... you know, you'd hear all
these random noises and then all of a sudden they would fall
into this beat... It was a pretty amatuer attempt I guess...
the melody though, it just came pretty easily though... I
was surprised with myself... I'm really glad you like the
cd, but I'm still waiting on my copy...

first of all,,, aktium did a fantastic job mixing the cd...
i don't think i would have chosen a different order for the
songs to go in,,, most of it flows perfectly,,

and yeah, aminal--great tune,,, had no idea fruityloops was
behind that one,,, (that's a good thing),,, i think your
song and manik miner's "dark" right after yours sound great
together.

and funkmaster,, your song is awesome. and you definitley
pulled off the jega thing,,, once again, i had no idea you
all used fruityloops.. they sound professionally done,,,
mine was made with fruityloops, but mine sounds real
amateur,,,

i was very impressed with all who contributed to the comp.

and i hope you get the cd soon, funk,,, the whole cd is
great.
