ok, this may sound weird...... but i beat-box autechre all the time.... (when no ones around, of course! if someone heard me.... they would probably think i had rabies or something..) squarepusher and afx are too complex to make w/ a human mouth ( i mean, their complex rhythm shit, of course many of their songs u could..... but thats not what im talking about) im always coming up with these cool late-autechre beats..... they sound fucking wicked! usually in my head... but the simpler ones, i can actually (sort of) make w/ my mouth... if only i could actually sequence them with those amazing autechre sounds..... how DO they do it?!? |

Can you get a bass kick with your tounge? I can. This is how if you don't know: 1) Keep your lips closed 2) Place tip of tounge somewhere close to the skin above your front teeth (inside of course) and apply pressure -- sort of sucking in 3) Release this and you should hear a low boom. You can get different sounds from either keeping your teeth apart or together. Keeping your teeth together will get you a fuller sound but if you want to get a fast drum going, keep your teeth apart (good for drum n bass / drum rolls). |
