my sis moved the folder with most of my audio programs, and
dx fx plugins to my new HD. the thing is that now all of my
hosts don't reconize them. how can i tell the hosts to look
up where the fz plugs are?

btw, i run FL as my main looper, and Acid as my main
sequencer...in FL i refresh my dx list, and the plugins show
up, but they don't "activate" or work on the fx slots, the
slot remains empty.

i really don't want to re-install ALL these plugs...so i
hope someone on here is more adept with these things and can
help me out.

thnx!

BTW, i should add that soundforge 6 is being a bitch with
them as well...

Have you reset your directory that all the dx plugins are
supposed to be located in?

could you elaborate? do you mean reset via windows? (which i
don't have a clue how to do) or through the diffrent hosts?
ie. "refresh" in FL's case...

basically, it's just a matter of drive location, and a
subfolder diffrence...but i can't find where i can configure
this...

Next time you have this problem, go into your settings,
click on directories, then set the folder you sister threw
everything into as the default.

N/p... I should really add that this is in fruityloops not
windows. You will prolly have to do the same with soundforge
(I don't know, as I use cooledit)
