I wasn't being serious Phiz. I was taking the piss. I should

Basquait?....over-rated or what?....

No, Basquiat could not be over-rated. He was incredible.

I think phiz says Nureyev is overrated, as he's just made
that name up.

All I know is that there's a film about him with that
certainly over-rated tosser Dennis Hopper. I'm such an
ignorant twat when it comes to art. Wasn't he friends with
Andy Warhol. Now him I don't get.

Yes, I've been escorted by the police on many occasions from
the changing rooms in Marks & Spencer for masturbating on
their quality woolen knits.

yeah...they did some pieces together just prior to Basquait
dying (Smack OD)...Andy died not long after (Gall Bladder
complications altho the nurse invollved wasn't entierly
innocent...)...

Suprised you don't get Warhol, jonesy....my bookcase is
overflowing with his work/books etc.... another thread, I
reckon....perhaps tonight I'lll try and distill my feelings
etc and post em up....I always love to hear others feelings
bout art...see D Hirst thread for details...working on an
piece at the moment all about conflicting views & Warhol is
bound to come up with some good ones....

(oooo...aren't we all getting all arty recently....I better
shave off me SoulPatch or I'll get stoned in the streets for
my ARTFAG tenancies..:)...

nah...def not...Haring died around the same time (HIV)...

I kid you not when I say my bookshleves are piled with
Warhol....if any artist came close to my own world then he's
the one....

finally: RIP to these 3...not enough people in the world
like you....

I've only seen that red self-portrait in real life. I saw
one of the programmes on him recently. He was as mad as a
hatter. Didn't he have a thing for buying any old shit and
not throwing it away. And that phone thing he head going
on.

I just can't tap into art. I saw some Pollock and Picasso
also. I just can't get anything out of it. I'm an ignorant
fool.
