ok, a bit off topic but hey...
i know you can set html documents as your desktop background. what i want to know is, can you make it piont to files on your hard drive.
i want to design my own desktop, with shortcuts and stuff. thing is, when i make a html document, and piont a link to say fruityloops, everytime i click on it it comes up with that "save this file to disk or run from current location" thing.
i realise this is probably some security issue, but anyone tried this? is there away around it?
just thought it would be cool to completely design my own background with links (not icons)
any help appreciated.
