hello. i just received two mmt-8 sequencers, one of which i will sell. i will use the other one for sequencing of course, but i do not know how. i am trying to record a string thingy sound with my mc-303 into a pattern, but i do not know how. i plug in my cables, press record on the sequencer and play my string thingy, but it does not play back on my mc-303 after the pattern is recorded. i speculate that i am doing something wrong. i've toggled with the mmt-8 options and tried changing channels and also changed around function on my mc-303, but nothing works.

whats controlling what? are you using the 303 as the sequencer and the mm8 thingy as a sound module?
set the 303 to internal and the mm8 to slave ????? are your midi leads in the right ports? do you have to set the mm8s midi channel?

Hold down play mode whilst switching the mc-303 on. that puts it into Sound Module mode. then choose the bank and program change numbers from the sequencer

that sounds like it going to be a bitch to program in sound module mode because i'm thinking if it's in sound module mode, i cant play the keyboard, right?
