I went to set up for a huge underground party in exchange for free tickets and staff passes on thursday. I helped set up the PA with the guys from one of the better audio caterers in california, and they ended up crashing at my house for lack of a better place to stay. The next day they let me patch into the second stage PA after soundtest, and blast some of my shit.. LO AND BEHOLD THE PROMOTER GAVE ME A 45 MINUTE AFTERNOON SPOT! I got to blast my shit for DJs, promoters, and patrons, and was then given VIP access to the whole event. I got to sit on stage and chat with Aphrodite during his set, and met an oodle of other higher-ups. I also got invited to a private party on some 50 acre estate in central California.. Hosted by some company in San Francisco, there are only going to be 200 people there, all of them invite only from events like this. My brain is addled at best. |
