whats the american ideal of a "raver"
i spent all of my teen years jumping up and down at raves! i
thought the rave scene kind of died with dungarees and the
smiley ban danna!
though i did see some post on here ages ago with the title
stupid ravers, and there was some teeny bop freek with a
huge fuckin e around its neck?????

rubbish john on 2001-07-11 16:59 [#00014252]

let's not get started on that 'raver' shit now.

Chimp Systems from Bleep Gardens on 2001-07-11 17:00 [#00014255]

From what I've seen kids in the US see Ravers as we (the UK)
used to see them 10-odd years ago. The only people who call
themselves ravers now in the UK now are the younger 2-Step
garage kids, who're probably too young to remember
glowsticks, white gloves and whistles the first time around.
Which is quite fucking weird and makes me feel very old.

rubbish john on 2001-07-11 17:02 [#00014257]

no. please, let's not get started on that 'raver' shit.
touchy subject, very controversial.

Chimp Systems from Bleep Gardens on 2001-07-11 17:05 [#00014259]

oooohh. . . I sense I have missed something previously on
this board that touched a few nerves . . . I'll quietly walk
away then . . . *whistles*

Two step garage = shite

I would rather step twice in a lump of dog egg and build a
garage using only my wrists.

Dane Bowers is a two step garage guru. He is also chunky and
no longer goes out with Jordan with big tits as his john
thomas probably fell off.

I also heard he is a good fighter.

Everyone I am aware of who eats two step garage records only
wears posh clothes to go out in with designer labels
(Armani, Gucci, Marks and Spencers and Greggs). They also
sniff toot.

I will now invent / make some 8,000 step garage tunes !

When I was young i was tricked into asking for a record at a
record shop by "General Levy"

I am unaware of its name but I asked the man in the shop
for:

"Booyak booyaka and a rubba dub stylee" he did not know what
I meant

Who seen shaggy and his mate on top of the pops the other
day? His mate had a brown leather shirt on. And was dancing
next to some ladies, or was it a jug of gravy ?

They look the same to me
Bye Bye

Ah ha ha ha! The best of Reflex! He should have a spoken
word album.

|REFLEX| from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada on 2001-07-11 20:05 [#00014294]

im going to have a spoken word album! Its coming out soon,
that was my.. er manager. Yes. Thank you NOT REFLEX, its a
pleasure that someone would take the time out of their
actual day to do something, either a great fan of my work or
a complete idoit!

m....MwMw wwW(m M m)Www wMwM....m on 2001-07-11 20:09 [#00014295]

You should add what you just said to your upcoming album, it
was equivalent in visionary quality to your previous
material as cited by Not Rephlex.

|REFLEX| from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada on 2001-07-11 20:09 [#00014296]

Thats hilarious, you didn't go back far enough, only got my
REFLEX stuff, not the AFX DUB! I fire you! You didn't get
the best shit there is..... your fired.

|REFLEX| from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada on 2001-07-11 20:10 [#00014297]

There, is MUCH to be added, it has a release date of 2003.

thanksomuch from over there on 2001-07-11 23:40 [#00014329]

ravers.... *puke*

hedtwin from manchester on 2001-07-12 03:12 [#00014349]

spoken word albums rule. If Replex released one i woudl buy
it, just for teh comic value. I think someone shoudl make an
album which is spoken word, adn ever single word is a
diffrent track, cause u cud put it on random and it wud be
totally mental!!! (wicked cool kooky)

m....MwMw wwW(m M m)Www wMwM....m on 2001-07-12 07:00 [#00014357]

That would be mental~ I like random play and for this reason
I do not like "secret" songs at the end of the last song on
a cd. If that song comes up on random, you have to sit
through a big silence. Also, Nine inch nails "broken" sucks
on random, because it has 99 songs, about 92 of which are
completely silent empty sound spaces.

hedtwin from manchester on 2001-07-12 07:17 [#00014361]

I hate it when bands do that. What u wanna do is just play
it on your PC and take out teh empty track, problem solved
:)

|REFLEX| from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada on 2001-07-12 07:24 [#00014364]

My spoken word will be coming out, in limited edition
greenish brown cd covers. It has 22 tracks, the cd totals
about 72:39 and is packed with 2 unkown tracks. Ill keep
everyone posted. There are going to be 10 free copies given
away in a contest, details soon.

m....MwMw wwW(m M m)Www wMwM....m on 2001-07-12 07:28 [#00014368]

I was a very crafty art indeed to twist and bend a post
dedicated to insulting you into a little market place for
selling your own albums. (gives thumbs up)

|REFLEX| from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada on 2001-07-12 07:30 [#00014369]

m M m: yes..... well you know, im not going to respond to
that BUNK! But.. whatever I don't care, I actually think its
funny! Ive seen worse around here. Heh... but really, want a
copy?? Its gonna be an interesting piece of work. Really.

m....MwMw wwW(m M m)Www wMwM....m on 2001-07-12 07:37 [#00014372]

Did I inspire you to make this album, or you actually had
this project going all along? What will it be like, what
sort of things do you talk about, I'd take a free one I
suppose. It'd be good for reflecting light into people's
eyes to annoy them in restaurants (I just need to make sure
I get a window seat.)

|REFLEX| from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada on 2001-07-12 08:51 [#00014386]

m M m: Well I don't know about that, see... my vision
includes swimming instuctors playing this album to their
children on the harsh realities of our media "candy coated"
world. It is also for sophisto's to "relax" to. Or.. for
your average joe to sit back and have a beer to.

I really need to do this spoken word, it will aid me in my
on going amazon help aid fund.

If you want copies, post it and Ill take names.

not REFLEX on 2001-07-12 09:37 [#00014390]

'REFLEX on ....' the cd will not be coming out.
this is because REFLEX is an idiot.

"a great fan of my work" ....you fool.

|REFLEX| from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada on 2001-07-12 10:17 [#00014401]

not REFLEX: you capture the moment so well, in 1 years time
after the PLATINUM release of my album, I will produce your
"self help" tapes, where you overcome your feelings of agnst
and, rid your life of wasting it trying to make lame stuff
up on the internet. Its ok, with gods help we can overcome
this together.

not REFLEX on 2001-07-12 10:26 [#00014404]

with god's help you'll shut your face and remove your head
from your arse.

|REFLEX| from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada on 2001-07-12 10:33 [#00014406]
