i just found out to..................the answer is
.............."its a fake",,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Torley Wong from Vernon, BC, Canada / WWW.TORLEY.COM on 2001-03-19 02:20 [#00001146]

i think this was actually mixed by DJ Keoki under the alias
"Alpha Team". i like it a lot as a dancefloor track and it's
hilarious, especially when you understand all the voice
sample allusions to the cartoon itself -- but it's just not
Aphex, that's all... a seeming far way off stylistically to
begin with, anyway.

:)

think from lincoln,ne on 2001-03-19 03:35 [#00001155]

its not by dj keoki (he has major talent) it was done by a
"bubble-gum" techno group........p.s. the new full album
from dj keoki will be out sooon. like a month or
so..........im on an ego trip....people hate you because
they are jealous...wicked caterpiller....and many
more.......thank..............think......

tune|FX from york,ON on 2001-03-19 03:41 [#00001160]

speaking about bubblegum techno, what do you think about the
latest Daft Punk stuff? It is commerce for the first time.
But ....
(i saw Celebrate's video, it kicks ass, and they have a cool
image in URB magazin: "we are the robots")

hexane on 2001-03-19 11:15 [#00001170]

i can't understand daft punk. 'homework' absolutely kicked
but this new stuff i'm not too sure about
maybe, dear i say it...they've turned...commercial?
pitty, happened to Norman Cook too. damnit, i'd been looking
forward to the new DF album

think from lincoln,ne on 2001-03-19 23:01 [#00001195]

daft punk sucks........the only thing kool is the person
dressed up as a dog in their videos, when mtv used to play
AMP ( an hour or electronic stuff)

tune|FX from york,ON on 2001-03-20 03:33 [#00001215]

its not that simple turning into commercial... you have to
know what is the french scene before you tell something
definitive... anyway i see mucch clearer their music since
checked that interview

Torley Wong from Vernon, BC, Canada / WWW.TORLEY.COM on 2001-03-20 12:51 [#00001230]

think: ooops, my bad. sorry for my mistake. but actually, i
think a fair amount of what DJ Keoki mixes/produces sounds
bubblegum in a *good* sense -- that is, it'd upbeat and goes
down well with candy ravers. a Moonshine strength.

tune|FX: ah, the Dafties (or is that Punks?) are back with
Discovery. i personally don't find it any more commercial
than Homework, they're certainly more famous now but they
were well-known after that "darn dog" vid for "Da Funk" hit
in the first place. sometimes a bit too repetitive for me,
but catchy tunes. seems to be almost a Bach-baroquesque
influence in places (i.e. "Veridis Quo" and the end of
"Aerodynamic"). i like the fact they have a sense of humor
and can have fun without worrying too much about what other
people think about them. sort of like our own RDJ in this
regard. so, overall, i like the new Daft Punk. classy and,
um, funky!

:o)

Yeah Alpha Team - "Speed Racer (hardcore mix)" <-- I think
that's the title, is a funny track... good too; if you like
oldstyle hardcore with comic features.

(This topic is like 2 years old... you don't see these
topics no more.
Also if you listen to "Speed Racer" you'll know it's not too
hard to guess wether RDJ made it or not.)

AG = AudioGalaxy (a p2p file shring program/site, free
tracks are no longer hosted there, but it used to be sweet)

It was a hoax. GITS used to be on the Aphex Twin page at AG
