You can be both you know :)

I don't know how to play keyboards, but I'm very technical
and have a vast knowledge of synthesis, LFO to filters and
whatnot. I also make music, both random soundscapes and
sequenced bits.

I can get very emotional when my friends don't appreciate
the fact that the melody is coming from tuned filter
resonance instead of an oscillator.

eh 5-8...i dont use very complex/technical equipment...
though i often spend a lot of time arranging
beats/sounds...call me old fashioned but all of my tracks
have to have some sort of feeling behind them for them to do
anything for me...same goes for te music i listen to...

i would actually like to be able to do more
sketchy-techinical tracks...but those damn emotions just
keep getting in the way...
