I'm listening to Amon Tobin while I'm eating breakfast.
This is how life should be. Brilliant.

Post here if you love Amon Tobin. What's your favorite
album/track/etc by this modern day hero?

I don't have a lot of Amon Tobin,
(such a shame!)
but from what I have,I like the song Supermodified the most.

I had to delete his albums a week ago, but I re-downloaded
them. To my shock, The New York Editor (Bricolage) is
different then the one I used to have! Gah! The perils of
being a cheap ass MP3 pirate.

''Slowly'' is exactly what I was listening to when I started
this topic. Cereal tastes so much better while grooving to
''Slowly''.

Um, unless they re-released it on Ninja Tune. All I know is
that on the compilation I have a track on its licensed from
Nine Bar. I'm just trying to make out that I know more than
I do, ignore me.

I have all his albums (under the Amon Tobin).. 2 burnt and 2
real. The man is not be messed with.

And if Ophecks ever reads this the fool better have bought
at least one of his albums.. no good music should go
unrewarded. (Don't buy Supermodified though that's his best
seller)

i love Amon Tobin very much. i remember i used to live on
his albums. noone beats him when it comes to those 'sound
collages'... he's a real stereo king! :)

i think Supermodified is still his best, but i also enjoy
immensely the funkiness of OFOW (the 'Cosmo Retro' track is
SHEER funk! :D) and that somewhat gloomy atmosphere of
Bricolage. it's really difficult to pick out a favorite
album though because they all are so different from each
other...

better...and better...and better...and better...and
better...and better

...and even the verbal Eps are ace !

I like bricolage best cos its all noir and jazzy, chomp
samba would be my fav track of it, permutations next fav and
fav track would be "regular chickens" mainly cos its an
eraserhead sample, the track I like best musically would be
"people like frank", supermodified is okish, golfer vs boxer
is the best track off that I think, out from out where was
just too nice n normal for me....

This is old! I really didn't like Out from Outwhere much at
all, not nearly as much personality on that album. But all
of his previous albums were totally without blemish.
