Do any of you have any experience with either Battery or
Dynamo? If so, what are they like?

up the sample. genius!

.....errr. I like Battery, it has some cool features like
bitcrushing and distortion and you can assign the modwheel
to the looplength for easy rattling effects, you can also
modulate the looplength with a loopcounter so you can get an
accellerated repetition of the drumhit. Because of it's
modulation matrix it can do many tricks and that's what
makes this program special.

I've got them ,tho never used them,......battery is (from
what I read) a very good sampleplayer,....but Halion is
(from what I read) better.

Dynamo,.hmm I remember having early demo versions way back
and it was ok making strange noises,....can't remember if U
could export to wave,...that would b cool after all

Battery is specificly geared towards drums(and 'hits'),
Halion is not...
