how do you keep yourself on-task? I find it sooo hard. therefore I'll be up until the wee hours of the morning writing papers I could have done days ago.

I keep myself on task with electric shocks delivered from a new model of ed 209 whenever I have any thoughts or movements that aren't on task.

I leave it till 5hours before the deadline and then you're forced to concentrate.
It is a good philosophy as it maximises your amount of free time and still gets the work done.
