my topic is not about claiming this is the same song as the album version. i notice some significant differences. but my question is, why release this? is this smoothed out, clearer version seriously meant to appeal to girls more than the album version?

The soft part is much longer in the girl version, u know with just the drum and the base ;)
is this smoothed out, clearer version seriously meant to appeal to girls more than the album version? THe answer is yes, and I like the girl version more hehe.

actually the distinction of "red hot cock" is pronounced much clearer in this version than the album version, which kinda ruins the whole "for girls" thing.. unless female idm fans are all horny

it's funny I had the vinyl girl version months before Go plastic came out. I was pretty suprised when I heard the album version.
Conclusion: I could see spinning the girl version in a set but for personal listening the boy version is more exciting.

isn't the album version on the single? i too prefer the album version, has much more of a kick
in a dj set i once dropped this beauty: d'angelo - untitled (how does it feel) squarepusher - my red hot car (lp version) radiohead - in limbo
it was one of my finest moments..

ahh there you go The vinyl has some wierd shit there are "hidden" tracks on both sides where you have to lift the neddle out of a stuck groove and move into to the end. I don't do much scrathing but I did on this bonus sounds and it sounded amazing........i need to get this record back from friend..he's had it for 6 months
