I dowloaded a copy of absynth, which opens fine the first
time I use it. Afterwards, every time I open it I get an
error type 2 message? Can anybody help me?!!

error type 2 messages are logic errors. are you using
absynth as a vsti in lap?
if so, it's usually a conflict with plugins. try temporarily
removing your plugins folder and starting logic. does the
problem go away?
for me, the waldorf d-pole caused some problems. i can't use
it in logic....boo hoo...
